10 C- a family of some students who united after a shuffling of their 14 years of education. It was different for everyone to adjust, but who knew this class would turn out to be the best in every possible way. Everything about it was special from celebrating birthdays, bunking classes, being punished together and most important of all the lovely memories.
We had a great class teacher and subject teachers who always tried to make everyone sit distantly to avoid talking but little did they knew that the whole class was one group. The best part was the birthday celebration of each student of the class and the lunch party which followed after that. Everyone used to hop on a single plate and fought to eat from it. We as a whole bunch loved treats, we never differentiated whether it was our teacher's birthday or friends. Cake cutting had become a tradition in the class. The homemade butterscotch and chocolate cakes were the ones to support the tradition.
I look back on to our various attempts to bunk the social science classes deliberately and getting punished all together. The amount of effort everyone put in while deciding a gift for our class teacher for teacher's day to giving a good farewell was so effortless. Our social science classes, accent classes and physics classes were the most entertaining ones. From saying Kheera instead of cucumber in accent class to suggesting Endura mass for the teacher we all grew up. The celebration of children's day and teacher's day are unforgettable. Even though our class was considered “the most talkative” or “ a big red fat zero”, we all knew it was more than that. Our class trip to adventure island and the one after our examination were all significant. The way everyone supported and stood for each other was very underrated.
As it is said “ we never understand the value of a moment till it becomes a memory”, I wanted it to be a never-ending memory. It has been more than four years since we have passed tenth. We all are moving on with our respective lives but this memory will forever be tagged along with us. It is not just a memory but a connection we shared with each other. Missing you all and hoping for our “reunion” tradition to continue always.
A small journey down the memory lane :)
