Social media is used by people to communicate and engage with friends, family, and other communities. Websites and programs that prioritize collaboration, content sharing, community participation, communication, and engagement are referred to as social media.

SOCIAL MEDIA  ||   A Boon……….

Our social circle has expanded as a result, and we are able to connect with individuals all over the globe. Additionally, social media has made it simpler to keep up with global events. Information and news are available to us from several sources. Social media, however, has the potential to be a time waster.

Social media facilitates awareness-raising and lifestyle innovation. It encourages individuals to live better standards of living and disseminates fresh updates among them.  People often strive to get seen and acknowledged, and social media promotes this.

You may establish a connection with your intended audience by using social media networks. It's also a fantastic approach to get hold of high-quality information. You can quickly learn about events and news with the use of social media. Social media facilitates friendship-building and helps you stay in touch with friends and family.

We can sometimes feel social media better because we can remain in touch with family and friends around the globe through FaceTime, SMS, email, and other means thanks to social media and technology, and we can easily access information and do research.

Social media is an effective tool that companies can use to contact their target customers and advertise their goods and services. Additionally, it enables direct client engagement. It has changed marketing tactics and opened up new channels for communication with customers.

SOCIAL MEDIA  ||   A curse……..

I have no choice but to declare social media to be an evil. The fact that man has turned into a tool of his own instruments is becoming obvious.

The world's population exceeds seven billion individuals, and they are all interconnected. Is it because we've grown accustomed to having conversations online and have forgotten about in-person interactions? Emotions and feelings are converted into emoticons, which are unable to fully convey the whole range of emotions. The emergence of social media both brought people closer together and further apart.

Social networking sites such as MySpace, LinkedIn, Orkut, Facebook, and Twitter are a never-ending source of distraction. Teenagers in particular are enticed to check these websites ten or twenty times a day.

Teenagers have observed unpleasant behavior on social media in about 80–90% of cases. Thus, privacy might be considered extinct.

Finally friends whether social media is a boon or a curse depends on its usage.. we have to use the social media and technology in a proper way  and utilize it in a good manner…
