In today's blog, we are gonna see the play The hamlet which is a great tragedy written by Shakespeare.

This play consists of 5 acts, “To be or not to be” is a famous soliloquy delivered by Hamlet. So the play begins with the appearance of the ghost which was seen by the watchmen of Elsinore castle. So the watchmen informed Horatio, a close friend of Hamlet. Later this was known to Hamlet about the apparition. Initially, Horatio was too stunned to see the apparition, it is because of the same armour which was worn by the late king Hamlet when he fought with Fortinbras. At that time Hamlet came from Wittenberg university to attend his father's funeral. Horatio informed Hamlet about the appearance of Ghosts, so Hamlet waited in the castle rampart to meet the ghost. The ghost appeared the same night and the ghost make Hamlet come alone. They had a separate conversation leaving the watchmen and Horatio left behind. This makes Horatio tense and he thought that it would be a warning of an evil attack on the country. During Hamlet's encounter eventually, he got to know that the ghost was his dead father. More importantly, the cause of the death of his father made him triggered his nerves. The late king told that his death was “foul and unnatural”.The late king was killed by his brother who was in his crown now and also seduced the late king's wife Gertrude as well he was planning to marry. After hearing this Hamlet cries “oh my prophetic soul". His father also asked Hamlet to take revenge for his death. After hearing the truth Hamlet became furious and swear his father to accomplish his wish.
