Today's biggest question in terms of Cricket is that is there any possibility or any window for IPL 2021 to continue again as the pandemic has increaseincreased rapidly in India. Due to the continuous rising cases in the IPL, it was inevitable that at a certain point, it would become difficult for  BCCI (Board Of Control For Cricket In India) to continue IPL as they cannot put the life of the players on stake. Within 24 hours, everything changed and it became impossible for BCCI to continue IPL.

Players who were tested positive for Covid19 during IPL were Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier (Kolkata Knight Riders), Wriddhiman Saha(Sunrisers Hyderabad), CSK's bowling coach Balaji also tested positive for Covid. Recently, Prasidh Krishna from KKR has also been tested positive after the suspension of this season's IPL. BCCI will make all possible efforts to find a window to continue this season's IPL not only because of money but one of the main reason could be its image. BCCI is not only an association but it's a brand. According to reports, they will try to continue the IPL in UAE. Not only IPL, but their are possibilities that the T20 World Cup this year will also be shifted from India to UAE but the sponsorship rights will remain with India.

India will play WTC Final and also 5 test matches against England which will end on 14th of September. So BCCI will try to continue the IPL during end of September in UAE when all the teams will be present there for World Cup. Still there are 31 matches remaining, so it will take minimum 20 days to finish it of but this will also increase the risk of injuries just before the World Cup. It would not be easy at all for BCCI to conduct IPL just before the World Cup because of shortage of time. Another window that opens for IPL to be completed is after the T20 World Cup because at that time, all the players will be present there in UAE, so it can be completed within a period of 20 days approximately. But another problem that arises here is Ashes which will be conducted in mid November in Australia. So conclusively, it will be a troublesome task for BCCI to find the winner of IPL Season 14. Hopefully, they will find some or the way to reschedule the IPL.
