Make Choices You Don't Regret Later

Hi all. I hope things are all safe and sound at everyone's end and y'all are keeping well physically and mentally as well. The reason I decided to write this blog is quite sensitive and this is something being an issue that most of the women face and don't speak up for their own personal reasons.

So, this evening I came across this post that was talking about how a woman after her marriage decided to make a choice for herself to get a divorce, being in her 30s and later on she realized that it's not working out for her. On one side where I really appreciate her making a choice for her own self, something that hit me so hard was if this would be a better idea to ask other women to follow the same.

Here's my take on it. Where one side, it's really important that we as humans, stand for what we're actually getting through unapologetically (I call it 'choices for life'), it's also very sensitive to take decisions with a peaceful mind. On one side while we're heading to an intensively liberal life, talks openly about issues that matter, it's indeed a need that we don't label our lives with that of others as in challenges, bad times, and personal life issues.

So, what if we're in the midst of thoughts, totally lost, pained by shits, evil heads, and willing to make a better decision that we don't have to regret later in the future???

Peace in mind! So, the time that we're living in, when most of we young ones are witnessing a pandemic, staying home, increasing cases of violence, cases of rapes in India, people being killed, dying, pain and tears everywhere, the first thing that most of we growing ones decide to learn, is to speak up, get stronger and to live an independent life. This is true of utmost need that we become independent be it a man or women or anyone, we should also be understanding the need of a society we're building, the world we're building for the coming generation, and we live a life above labels that somebody set out of their personal experiences and didn't consider how diverse we're as humans.

It's important to raise voice for your own good, for your own self if something wrong is being done or even if it doesn't make you happy. I really admire those who stand for their rights, for their choices, setting an example of liberty to live a happy life.

Whenever I personally keep reimagining if there're really any boundaries about how far we can go being a liberal human, just one thing that sorts out everything: 'Liberty is not personal. It's a social contract.'

So when we think of making choices as we're liberal enough to do so, we should also be keeping in mind others' as well. While it's easy to blame others when they leave you after marriage as they don't see a match any longer, it shouldn't be a good decision if you do the same and then talk openly about it, to inspire others to do the same?

Speaking up for your rights and against violence is important but, at the same time. it's also important to keep a hold on things and don't give up on them coz we're too liberal to switch to some other one. One side where we're becoming more of a liberal society that doesn't really care to speak up, we're also witnessing the intolerance, impatience, extremities of anger, frustration, and how easily people give up these days.

Keep your mind at peace, speak up for your happiness, have patience, and make choices but make sure you don't have to regret them later.

Much love, God bless!

❤️
