Facebook!!! Everyone now has FB account.Many will admit that due to this platform they came into contact with long lost friends. But do you know about story of creation of Facebook ?This is what today's Film blog is about. 

         Social Network (2010) directed by renowned director David Fincher starring Jessi Eisenberg, Andrew Gardieldm , Justine Timberlake, Armie Hammer and Max Minghella is based on story of founder of A Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg. Film begins with a 19 years old Harvard University student Mark getting dumped by his girlfriend.  He returns to his place and does some notorious job by hacking Harvard University students data followed by six months academic probation by authority . This incidence gets attention of Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss,twin brothers and Divya Narendra. They ask him to work on their website named howardconnect, accessible only to Howard students for dating. In one party, Mark pinch idea of The Facebook, a social network platform exclusive for Ivy League students and creation of revolutionary social network platform begins. 

               Lead of this movie is university student, so we get glimpse of American college life. Atmosphere of one of the topmost university in the world is really amusing to watch. Group of nerds discussing about their future startups might sound boring but dialogs writing is done for those scene so engaging that we remain involved in it for long time.Technical language and coding terms used by those engineering student never becomes boring for commoners while watching film.

               It is startup, so fund raising becomes important aspect of the project. Negotiation for funding institutions is another treat in the movie. There is one point in film where Mark got accused by Winklevoss brothers for stealing their idea and sue him under Intellectual Property Law and his partner also accused him for diluting his stake in company in unfair manner during incorporation process. All parties appears in front of tribunal for hearing. David Fincher has own style of creating tension on screen . In this movie, dim play important role to build gradual tension during debate and we become eager to know whether they solve the problem by settlement or tribunal passes decree against Mark's interest.

           Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross had done fantastic job of background score. Event of rowing competition along with score named " In the hall of Mountain King' has separate fan base worldwide.

                    This movie got nomination for Oscar in 8 categories ,won 3 in which one was for best background score. There is scene in movie where Mark's partner breaks his laptop into pieces. The director made actor to break 27  iPhone laptops till he gets perfect footage. Even after such perfection, Fincher and Film didn't won Oscar of best director and film respectively and everyones reaction was like “ that was brutally close.”
