          In this blog, I will be talking  about my favorite Sherlock Holmes stories. . Sir Arthur Conan Dyer penned 56 short stories of Sherlock Holmes during 1892 to 1927. Those are published in five books named, Adventures of  Holmes(1892),  (1894),Return of Holmes(1905), His Last Bow (1917) and The case book of Holmes (1927).These are my top 10 favorite stories of the Sherlock Holmes. 

10. The Noble Bachelor-:

         Lord St. Simon comes to Sherlock's place with a quest. His wife disappeared immediately after their wedding ceremony.Her wedding gown was found in fountain near wedding venue.  Police are confuse about whether the case is of kidnapping or not and Holmes starts looking for lady in his different way.

9.The Three Garridebs -:

            One day, Holmes receives a letter from Nathan Garrideb,telling that he has inherited property of dead American resident of same surname. This American resident want to divide the property into three parts whose surname is Garrideb. He got his information from John Garrideb, with whom he is suppose to share the property with and one more Garrideb as per will of stranger American resident.Letter writer felt whole scenario strange and asking Holmes for help with this situation and as usual Sherlock is there.

8. Schoscombo old Place -:

         Head trainer from Schoscombo old place,a racing stable, thinks his master has gone mad. The master had fight with his widow sister, who is owner of the place and she has now socially withdrawn. This story is enough for Holmes to take the case.  

7. The Bruce -Partington Plan -:

         One day Mycraft Holmes, elder brother of Sherlock brings a case of death of a young clerk from government office at Royal Arsenal,woolwich. Police found 7 pages out of 10 of secrete submarine plan in the pocket of dead body. 3 missing pages are important and mission of retrieving those pages comes to Sherlock. 

6.The Bery Coronet -:

            A banker lend huge amount to social prominent client against most valuable public possession of the country. Banker brings collateral to his home for safety purpose. On same night, he found out his son is trying to steal the valuable and three diamonds of the crown are missing. He request Holmes to help him to get those diamonds back and Holmes investigation begins.
