India has unique diversity in culture and traditions across the world. The variety of traditions and cultures followed by each and every people living in India. In India, religions, cultures and traditions had made people live in a rich, healthy, peaceful, colorful and diverse nation. It is unbelievable that different directions of India like east, west, north and south have their own cultures and traditions.

India have 29 states and 7 union territories. There are 22 languages and several religions like Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Christianity, Buddhism, etc. which exist in India. Hindi is considered as the official language of India. India is known for its old civilization where people still follow their old customs and tradition of caring, humanity and brotherhood. 

Indian culture is famous across the world due to its diversity in art, tradition, language, food, literature and many more. The significant traits of Indian culture rituals, beliefs, norms, values and etiquettes. India is prominent for its ‘Unity in Diversity’ across the world. That means India is a diverse nation where people having different religions live together happily and peacefully. So, in nation we can see people of different languages, food habits, dresses, and customs living with unity in India.

Indian festivals are one of the most famous parts of the world. Weather we talk about holi, diwali, id-ul-fitr, ponagl, navratre, chritsmas, onam, baisakhi, chhath, muharram, bihu and many more to count all have its own importance and celebrated widely among Indians. 

The joint family system has been the dominant system of indian culture since ages. Most importantly, the family members consist of parents, children, children’s spouses, and offspring. All of these family members live together happily. Furthermore, the eldest male member is considered as the “head” or “karta” of the family. Arranged marriages are the norm in Indian culture. Most of the Indians have their marriages which are planned by their parents. Weddings are also considered as a kind of festive occasions in Indian culture. As in weddings, there is great decorations, new cloths, lots of music and dance, performance of every rituals, etc., in Indian weddings.

Other than customs and traditions, if we talk about Indian cuisine then it will to inspirational. Different states have it's different variety of cuisines which is famous across the nation. Indian foods are made up of so many pure ingredients and are more influential across the world. Indian cuisine is mainly influenced by the diversity of people, so has its rich variety. For example, in Northern Indian food is mostly made up of roti, parantha, rice, dal, fish curry, etc., where in Southern Indian food includes idli, vada, sambhar, dosa, upma, etc. Everything sounds very tasty and delicious. 

Though India is on its developing stage but it's fully developed in it's tradition, culture, customs
