Hello everyone, I think no one can disagree that crude oil plays a very important role in determining the economy of a country. Because every time the price of crude oil rises, it has a huge impact on the economy of all countries worldwide. Friends, do you know who was the first to use this crude oil, which is the most important factor that determines the economy of the world? The ancient Babylonians, now known as the Iraqis, were the first people in the world to use crude oil.

Before getting to that, let's first see how crude oil is formed. The bodies of humans and animals buried in the soil due to natural disasters millions of years ago are decomposed by bacteria and then chemically combined with the salts in the soil. Due to the high pressure and heat under the ground, it flows into nearby rock cracks and turns into dark black oil resources.

The first people in the world to discover these oil resources were the Iraqis, the ancient Babylonians. When the ancient Babylonians built sky-high towers in their soil about three thousand years ago, considering the strength of the building, they built the foundation wall of the building from a little deeper into the ground. This crude oil was found at Andericca (Near Babylon Province) in Iraq when digging a hole a little deeper for the construction of a building.

The Babylonians accidentally discovered that the walls built with crude oil survived the attacks of termites, ants and insects, and then boiled the crude oil for a long time and then applied the asphalt (asphalt) obtained as a dye (paint) on the foundation walls of the building that disappeared into the ground. Also considering the flammability of crude oil, it has also been used as fuel oil for lighting. Herotus (Herodus - 484 BC) and Diodorus (Diodorus - 60 BC) two famous Greek historical authors report this with evidence in their research articles.

The world's first known modern oil well was drilled in China in 347 AD. The well, drilled with bamboo poles, was nearly 800 feet deep. AD Until the 7th century crude oil was used as lamp oil and as asphalt in construction. AD By the ninth century asphalt had begun to build beautiful roads throughout the Iraqi capital. The first roads in the world to be paved with asphalt were in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. Part 2 will be upload stay tuned.
