LISTEN the thing is at school (currently in school, ironically) we are not taught a subject which is most important in life which is finance. we are taught how to work for others and not how we can financially free. We are taught to avoid mistakes, Don't take risks, do what we are told to do, get good grades, get to a good college, land a good job/Sarkari job so that we can we set for life.
You may have heard that many celebrities, athletes, and famous people get rich overnight, earn tons of money a few years and then disappear when comes news that they are back to being broke. let us analyze these things :-
the first thing is they get rich quickly so they don't understand how money works they start to buy branded clothes, diamond rings, and other luxuries which causes lifestyle inflation (lifestyle inflation means the more you earn the more you spend, EG→ Prem earns 1000 rs./pm and spends 800 rs., then he gets a raise of rs.100 bringing his total income to 1100 rs., now he buys the latest smartphone on EMI because he got a raise and starts to go out a lot, Earning = 1100 rs., spending = 1000 rs., this is a common example of lifestyle inflation)
when they quit they can't afford to continue spending such amounts each month resulting in getting into bad debts.
these series of actions led to them being broke again like they were before.
