Wondering about food, for me the first thing that comes in mind is a perfect cup of coffee and Upma served hot. I would love to share with you guys my recipe of perfect Upma and a perfect cup of coffee!

Ingredients required

  • Half cup rava
  • One medium sized onion
  • Two - three green chillies
  • One medium sized tomato
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • Shev
  • Cooking Oil or Ghee
  • Water

Recipe

  1. Take a pan and switch on the gas. Add the half - cup rava in it.
  2. On the other hand, finely chop the onion, tomato, coriander and chillies.
  3. Saute the rava in the pan till it turns golden - brown. Do not burn it.
  4. Take a vessel and shift the heated rava for cooling.
  5. In the same pan, add some cooking oil. Since the pan was already on heat, the oil would be heated fast. You can even use ghee instead of oil.
  6. Add the chopped onion, tomato, coriander and chillies into it.
  7. Keep frying them till the onions turn golden brown.
  8. Add the cooled down rava into the pan.
  9. Saute them under low flame.
  10. Add ¼ cup water in it.
  11. Add some salt.
  12. Turn off the flame and close the lid.
  13. After some time, open the lid. By now the rava would have soaked the water and you'd smell a fresh aroma of Upma.
  14. Prepare your plate. Garnish your Upma with some fresh coriander leaves and shev.
  15. Your meal is ready. Serve it hot!

How can your meal be even complete without a cup of hot coffee! My perfect cup of coffee needs less work and more love. This recipe of coffee can even be cooled down. Adding some ice cubes and fresh cream to this would give you the authentic taste of cold coffee. This is my favourite way of preparing coffee. You can definitely improvise your coffee to create a festival for your taste buds.

Ingredients Required

  • Coffee Powder
  • Milk Powder
  • Water
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Sugar

 Recipe

  1. Take 2 spoons of coffee powder, 1¼ spoons of sugar powder, 1½ spoons of milk powder in your coffee jar.
  2. Take a pan and heat water equivalent to the jar.
  3. After the water has been boiled, take two tea spoons of the hot water in the jar.
  4. Whisk the water, milk powder, coffee powder and sugar thoroughly.
  5. After whisking, pour the rest of the water in your jar.
  6. Pour some chocolate syrup into it and spoon it well.
  7. Your perfect cup of coffee is ready!

Enjoy!
