Let's dive back into some mythologies, and for this blog, particularly into Greek Mythology. The greek myth is filled with zeus and how lustful and desperate he is to get laid, but this is a love  story which is quite sweet and lovely.  In the greek mythology, the god of love is eros. In this blog, we will be talking about how the god of love fell in love and what happens in these scenarios. 

Psyche was a young and gorgeous daughter of a king and a queen. Her beauty was im measurable. She was so pretty that the people who admired her even ignored the worship of the goddess aphrodite, who is the goddess of lust and beauty, and instead they worshiped Psyche, and as the gods and goddesses were, this angered the goddess Aphrodite. And so she sent hers and ares' son, Eros, in other ways, cupid, and ordered him to make psyche fall in love with a hideous man. 

But the way this backfired was hilariously ironic, when Eros fell in love with Psyche. She visited eros every night with a condition that she would not look at his face. But psyche's sister tricked her into looking who her lover was. And she saw the face of the man she fell in love with but unfortunately she woke him up from his sleep and that resulted in eros leaving her.

Psyche searche d the whole earth for her lover but could not find him. And so, she devoted herself in the worship of aphrodite. And the lust goddess ordered poor psyche to do many impossible tasks like once she ordered her for a journey to the underworld. But even after all this  psyche managed to win and marry eros. And after this marriage  psyche was made the goddess of the soul and also is granted the divine gift of immortality. And so the gods blessed her by saying that the bond between her and her husband will never be broken.
