Body Image - Love Your Own Body

What is my image of the body? When we talk about a negative or positive body picture, what thoughts do you have? Most people take it in a negative direction. Why, however? You're disgraceful of your own body? Have you ever wondered why your own body is so shameful? Body image is mental & emotional. Healthy body image requires more than simply tolerating one's appearance or "not disliking" oneself.

Always treat your body with respect. Try to eat well-balanced meals and exercise just for feeling good and strong, not to exert control over your body.

Take note of when you pass judgement on yourself or others based on their weight, shape, or size. Be mindful of how you discuss your body with family and friends. Always surround yourself to the one who truly appreciates you & accept you the way you are. Find out the small message and stick around to the mirror to remind yourself that you are way beautiful than anyone else. Do whatever you like to do – like singing, dancing, do some exercise, try new outfits or do something productive but try to engage into something creative. If you think about it for a few minutes, you will realize how many things you are grateful for your body to do for you on a daily basis. Make a list of the characteristics of your body that you admire. Try to accept your strengths and weaknesses. Perfectionism: holding ideals are next to impossible. Try avoiding negative rumors' & maintain your healthy connections to your thoughts and feelings. Rather focus on appreciating & respecting your body. Do you frequently seek reassurance or validation from others in order to feel better about yourself? Do you frequently focus solely on outward appearances?

Remember that everyone struggles with their body image from time to time. Make a list of the positive aspects of the body part or feature you dislike or find difficult to accept. Engage in activities that you enjoy and value. You have the right to live your life to the fullest extent possible. Make a list of the qualities you admire in your body and in yourself. Make additions to this list as needed, and remember it if you're feeling a bit down. Put an end to comparing yourself to others. Love and appreciate your body for what it is and what it is transforming into as you live a healthier lifestyle.
