Why most of the parents will not give the right explanation to the children's questions ? Instead make faces !!!

• Children are born innocent. They want only to be loved,cared, to learn and to contribute.
• On a daily conversation with my child i will tell her, I hope you keep your innocence as long as you can .Because you can't go back and re-do your childhood.
• They try to copy things what their parents are doing.
• In the process of learning, they tend to doubt about most of the things we do. Fore them it looks odd and questions us (parent)
• And coming to the things which they doubt are ( few)

1. ABOUT GENITALS
2. How they born and from where they came.
3. THINGS THEY SEE ( Diapers, sanitary napkins, harmful things)
4. About the meaning that elder ones speak

How to react when they ask these type of questions

• Firstly don't make different faces and don't yell at child.Try to sit them and say in a calming tone that “let me explain you about this one”
• Don't lie to them. After they came to know the truth, they will lose the trust in you.
• This is the simple fact and we too could understand from our parents  they are being if they were being genuine with us or not. Go back to your childhood and think once.When kids are too small by age they might not know but at age of 4-5 they can read facial expressions very well.We don't need to scream/yell and bring the roof down to show your angry about something the did. A small frown will convey the emotion in a very clear manner.
• When the kids asks about something they saw on the TV, or the book or something you spoke to your spouse they know if you are honest or not.

INSTEAD

• Being honest to the child is utmost important thing to do.Try to give short age appropriate answers instead of telling a lie/screaming/yelling.
• If you don't know tell them i don't know and assure them that you will let them know.

• "Acting like human is important than acting like you know eveything"

Let them know you are not perfect and no one is and  all knowing and that you need read/learn more and understand too.

• Tell them it's okay to not to be okay all the time
