How do you start your day??
I love to start my day by simply walking through my garden admiring the flowers.
Every flower has different qualities and attributes which worth admiring.
Flowers admire us with their lovely scent and striking beauty, but many flowers have some hidden qualities in them. Flowers and plants have been used in medicines from thousands of years. Many flowers may have unusual characteristics. Some of the facts are.
FOX GLOVE
The Foxglove flower is poisonous to ingest and it can cause heart failure, applying a precise amount can make your heart stronger.
SUN FLOWER
Do you know Sunflowers can be used to clean up radioactive waste. ?
They can extract pollutants, including radioactive metal contaminants, through their roots and stores them in the stems and leaves. Due to this it is the international symbol of nuclear disarmament.
SERBIAN PHOENIX FLOWER
This flower miraculously comes to life when watered, even if it is completely dried.
CORPSE FLOWER
It is one of the largest and odorous plants in the world. It reaches up to 3 m height and smells similar to a decomposing animal.
RAFFLESIA ARNOLDII
It is the largest flower on earth which looks and smells like rotting flesh and attracts flies
It can weigh upto 11 kg and has no roots,leaves or a stem and produces no chlorophyll. It is also parasitic
RHIZANTHELLA GARDNERI
Rhizanthella gardneri grows entirely underground. This flower was discovered by a farmer in 1928 whenhe noticed a sweet smell coming from the ground.
BUTTER CUPS
Buttercups are poisonous. These flowers if eaten raw can cause severe blistering in the mouth and intestines. It also causes bloody diarrhea.
AZALEA BUSH
Azalea Bush is incredibly toxic and creates poisonous honey. If anyone wants to send a bouquet of Azalea flowers in a black vase was a well-known death threat.
ROSE

Roses are actually related to apples, raspberries, cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines, pears and almonds.
TULIP BULBS
In the 1600s Tulip bulbs were more valuable than gold in Holland .
It can be used as substitute for onions in a recipe.

The juice from the bluebell flowers was used historically to make glue
DANDELIONS
Dandelions may seem like weeds.
Dandelion flowers and leaves are good source of vitamins A and C, iron, calcium and potassium.
One cup of dandelion greens provides 7,000-13,000 I.U. of vitamin A.
MOON FLOWERS
Moon flowers bloom only at night and they are closed during the day.
