I'm not sure whether it was puberty or hormonal changes, but my teen years were unpleasant because of one thing teenager
Well, based on what some people say about Positive Thinking and all, I guess I gave it too much power over me. But, at that age, how was I supposed to know about all of that? Furthermore, with bumps, bumps, and more bumps all over my face, it was difficult. I doubt any girl would have wanted to kiss a guy with a big red bump nestled on his lip today or his nose the next.
After all, those were difficult years, and if I had learned then what I know now about acne, things would have gone differently. In any case, I always come across powerless and understandably sad teenagers almost every day, so if it helps, if you are a teenager or know a teenager who is afflicted by pimples, here are a few tips that should help you cure your acne in no time.
1. First and last, regardless of what some websites and product endorsers claim about how diet does not affect acne, you must improve your eating habits, plain and simple. What you eat makes you who you are. Eating right is important if you want cleaner skin with the added benefit of better health. That being said, fruits and vegetables are your companions. Shop more in the produce section and avoid the snack stands near the cash register. I know it may sound dull to a teenager, but believe me when I say it's well worth the effort, and it forms the foundation of an internal acne treatment right from the start.
2. In order to treat external acne, you can learn simple procedures such as facial massaging and exercises. However, (speaking from experience, and believe me, I had BAD acne...) simply washing your face with clean hands and plain cool water may be the most efficient way to clean the pores. This, along with facial massage and daily steaming of the face, will be sufficient to clean the skin.
3. Change your pillowcases on a regular basis, and make sure you have a face towel or use paper towels.
4. Whether you use greasy hair products, wash your hair before going to bed, or at the very least use a clean do-rag to avoid the application of sticky liquids to your pillowcase and, eventually, your face when sleeping.
5. While we're on the topic, consider sleeping on your right side. Aside from preventing contaminations from getting on the skin, this is beneficial to the heart and lungs and makes for a more restful night's sleep (which co-incidentally helps with controlling acne.)
With the advice given above, I am assured that this wouldn't be the case.
