I am a proud and grateful member of BTS ARMY. If you're living under a rock and don't know what I'm talking about, BTS is a seven-member K-pop group that has topped charts around the world. Fans of the group call themselves ARMY, which stands for "Adorable Representative MC for Teenagers". And ARMY has one of the strongest fan bases, helping BTS break records for album and ticket sales, Twitter engagement, YouTube debuts and more.
BTS' influence is hard to overestimate (the group accounts for $4.65 billion in South Korea's gross domestic product and has hit four No.1 albums faster than any group since the Beatles). Despite such a level of success, BTS still retains the kindness, passion, and dedication they showed in their first concert in front of three hundred fans. BTS is not only a group but also a salvation for millions of people who have fallen in love through BTS's music. They overcame typical labels to create a new genre:
BTS genres.
There are so many reasons to love BTS - their beautiful lyrics, their amazing dance moves, the way they take every opportunity to mention ARMY. How they broke records and set new ones. But what I love most about our Bangtan Boys is their commitment to using their platform to speak out about the issues that matter to them and to encourage people to accept them for who they are.
"You may be surprised to hear that a K-pop group has changed a student's life in India, but that's the power of BTS."
- Pankil Jhajhria
You might be surprised to hear that a K-pop group changed a student's life in India, but that's the power of BTS. Although the songs are mostly in Korean, thanks to the subtitles, I can understand their lyrics. And with my daily Korean lessons, I hope that one day I won't need subtitles anymore.
Even if you don't understand the lyrics, the feelings and messages still hit you like nothing else. In songs like "21 Girls of the Century" and "Go Go," BTS empowers women and challenges consumerism. The group encourages young people to follow their own dreams in "No More Dream". Lyrics:
Sick on the same day, repeat day
My grandson and parents
Keep giving me limited dreams
Future career number one is a government employee ?
It wasn't a forced dream, a ninth inning relief pitcher .
They are also said to works as the nationalities like as a korean soolders too.
