Hey!
You know sometimes, our dreams is just ours not our families. In our indian culture we are always taught to hold on our families, but what about the family are they ready to hold on to us?
I know our family , our parents will never ever took any decision which will affect or harm our future but what if there decision was wrong? Then what? Then….. It will became a wound for lifetime and we will blame our parents, our families. But if we choose our dream whatever it is, may be it is right , may it is wrong but atleast , if we fall then it will be our decision at last it will be our mistake. Atleast we will not blame our families, our parents. And after realising our mistake we can just lie down in our mother's lap. And our parents will be there for us on every turn of our life.
Sometimes, we learn when we made a mistake. Sometimes you only have to stand for yourself so that in the end, you will not blame anyone but yourself only. When we have a regret like , “ I wish I didn't listened to him/her, then may I didn't end up like this. ”
These kind of regrets feels like hell, it was a feeling which you can't express in words… you will miserable, terrible and what not. So, isn't it far better to blame yourself for your decision then others?
Our parents knows what is good for us and what is bad , and may be that's why they stop us. But parents needs to understand that if they will hold back their children more tightly just to protect them, the more vigorously they will try to set their-selves free. This is the most common reason for misunderstanding between parents and their children.
Instead of this, what parents can do is to let them follow their dreams may be they will not get successful, may be they end up hopelessly. But in the end you (parents) will be there for them. And you can help them starting it all over again, “BECAUSE IT'S NEVER TO LATE, TO START AGAIN”. So, set them free to follow their dreams but never made them feel that they are alone fighting for their dreams, motivate them, tell them that you can do it.
And what we ( children) have to do is! We have to be answerable, we have to be respectful, we have to be caring and loving because things only works out when their is efforts from both the sides. If they (parents) are not understanding you and your dreams, it doesn't mean that you will stop understanding them, they do a lot for us, can't we be a little patience just to make them understand that it's our dreams. And when they will understand you, they will support you and there will be no misunderstanding.
