“Step away from me u St*pid” a voice arose from the corner of the street. Some ladies fighting for water in the street. They usually use bad words. I am child when we are lived on the street. So for me, it's an entertainment. I usually leaning in the balcony and sightseeing the fights that women made in the corner of the street.
“Whats going on here?",a bold voice came from there. Suddenly all the women stoped screaming and fighting comes to an end. Each one judge for themselves but that bold voice doesn't mean for judgement but it comes to stop that fighting.
Yes ! She is my grandma who is like the Don of the street. When me, my sister, cousin go for shop we proudly saying we are the great grand daughter and grandson of our grandma. On hearing this, the shopkeepers and vendors gave us free chocolates and discounts.
Now I grew up and uses to go that shops but no discounts happen. Because my grandma died. After her death, we shifted to another home. I really missed her a lot. The fights in the corner of the street for water is still happen but nobody came and pacify them.
One day I was alone in my new house and my parents went for a marriage party. The calling bell was rang. I open the door and saw an old granny came to beg me. I noticed all her actions and her dressing sense. I realised that she's not poor but putting in the situation of begging for money. When I saw her she reminds me my grandma.
I asked her what was happening to her. She with her super smile explains me how many struggles and tortures she met with her son and his wife. Her son and her daughter in law doesn't even gave her a one time food. She was a millionaire but because of her daughter in law she became to beg in the streets.
I was totally shocked and doesn't control my tears. My mother and father look after my grandma so she is bold and feels comfy. If my parents let my grandma alone means she's nothing.
I begged u (the readers) please don't disrespect the old ones. It is irritating to see the activities of them but if we study to tolerate it, the life goes smoother for them. The older ones only carries us and donot saw us a burden for themselves till our growth. But when we grown up, we left them alone and they are like orphans. So please take care of our old ones because “old is gold”.
