CHAPTER 1: Found a Mysterious Photograph!

As Emily and James approached the Seabrook Manor, the sun dipped low, casting long shadows that seemed to stretch and reach for them. Emily shivered, as all the sounds whispered warned her not to get in. James gripped her arm tightly, his eyes scanning the darkened windows of the old house.The whole house felt suspicious. They could feel something beyond human existing there!. 

With hesitant steps, they stepped into the front porch. They opened the thick dusty wooden door which was left unlocked. The air was thick and heavy, like a blanket pressing down on them.There was a huge living-room with staircase at the corner. Cobwebs hung from the ceiling, and dust danced in the dim light filtering through the windows.

As they explored the ground floor, there was several rooms inside. Each went to different rooms to explore more. Suddenly, Emily could hear some footsteps following her. She froze, her heart pounding in her chest and she was even scared to turn back. She rushed to James with her eyes shut tight and when James inspected, there was literally nothing in that room. They both decided to explore together holding each others hands tightly. 

Their curiosity led them to a forgotten corner of the house, where they stumbled upon a ‘HIDDEN DOOR’ concealed behind a tapestry. With trembling hands, Emily pushed it open, revealing a dusty chamber filled with forgotten households. That represented that somebody had lived here long ago!.

Among the items scattered in the room, Emily's eyes landed on an old journal lying on a dusty table. She picked it up, her fingers tracing the faded cover as she flipped through its pages. Each word was drawing her deeper into the mystery of Seabrook Manor. Some people who lived here wrote this journal. Even some descriptions about the ‘Dark Figure’ and how that ‘Dark Figure’ disturbed them were written over there. Emily's face gone pale after she read the word ‘Dark Figure’.

Beside the journal, a faded photograph caught Emily's eye. It showed an old woman with striking resemblance to herself, her eyes filled with a haunting sadness.As Emily stared at the photo, a sense of unease washed over her. What was the connection between this woman and Seabrook Manor? And why did she look so much like Emily herself?

With a furrowed brow, Emily turned to James, her mind swirling with questions. But before she could voice them, a strange sound echoed through the house, causing them both to jump. Something—or someone—was watching them, and Emily couldn't shake the feeling that they were not alone in the darkness. DARK FIGURE IS WATCHING!!!!!
