It's ok to take a break. Every person nowadays is in a hurry to cross the finish line of success. Everyone wants to be better than the next person in something or the other. They give their best shot and still lack in something that they cannot figure out. They spot things that might not be in the way of their success and try to improve it in a kind of way that may ruin their chances of achieving their goal even more. Giving more hours, distancing yourself from your friends and family seems to be easy and might be also, but is it helpful? Are you doing any good to yourself by giving in all your 100% to those 24 hours a day and not living in any moment? No doubt it has worked wonders for a lot, but not every person is the same. Some might need isolation to get success, but some might just need a break to work better. No matter how long your break goes for! You may need some time off to stand back on your feet and run.
It doesn't matter how you are doing today but how you can do better tomorrow! Suffering yourself for something which seems easy for others can't lead you to where you want to be. Running after the next best thing each time you get something that you wanted and not giving yourself time to breathe can break you down at your most vulnerable situation - resulting in starting from scratch. So why not take a break now! Give yourself some time and then think about your goals and how you can achieve them. The time taken by you is the time you invest in yourself which will help you to make the most of it. You don't have to listen to others saying things like "don't waste your time". No one except you knows how capable you are to achieve your goals.
Don't give up on your dreams, but don't suffer in the journey of making them come true. Because at the end, it's the journey you remember the most. You don't want to lose your friends and family in this amazing journey of success. Work hard with no doubts but only when you are ready. People go on from school to college to jobs and then to marriage. They don't get the time to live or realise, what if they had done something differently and been in a better position. You don't want to regret your actions in future, so using a year or two of your life to set it on track will only be beneficial for you. You might even cherish and be grateful for those years you gave it to yourself, to realise what you are and want to be.
You may never know which phase of life may give you a kick start to your journey and help you to be the better version of yourself. Just don't give up, take a break and start. You will get what you want!
