The incredible story of Abid Khan, a pick-up auto driver. He was once a very talented boxer. Won Gold Medal at the North India Senior Boxing Championship at Chandigarh in 1985. But his passion was really in coaching. He wanted to coach youngsters in boxing. Khan went on to complete his Diploma in Coaching from the National Institute of Sports (NIS), Patiala. After that, he looked everywhere for a job. But could not find any. Dejected and heartbroken, he went to Saudi Arabia in the 1990s and worked as a taxi driver. In 2004, he returned to India and started working as a driver and loader for a private firm. Later ran his own pick-up auto before it was scrapped. Since then, he has been in-and-out of work. Life was tough. But despite life's hardships, the dream for coaching in him was still alive. After this video surfaced, lots of support poured in for the 60-year old Khan. It encouraged him to re-ignite his passion for coaching. He has now started coaching a few children in the locality. Hats off Sir. People like you are true heroes.
