Hi everyone

So this is my very first blog here in #candlemonk so i thought what better way to start than to introduce myself first to all of you'll. Well, my name is Debadrita sarkar but since it seems like such a tongue twister to non bengalis my friend Angira Dhar renamed me to Debbie. However in #Kolkata my school friends used to call me Dabs. Im currently based in #Mumbai and have been staying here since last 17years. Absolutely in love with this city and as the name goes it indeed is a city of dreams. As hard as it is to live here, once u stay u cannot stay anywhere else. The fast city life of #Mumbai addicts you. And especially if you are working in the #film industry, no matter how unstable the job u would still not want to leave.

So im in a live in #relationship currently with no intentions of get married yet and let me introduce you'll to the loves of my life..my babies. So the eldest is Sia, 2yrs old, ginger #cat. She is my first baby and will always remain the first love of my life. Then in the year 2020 i adopted three 7days old kittens during the lockdown because the mother passed away. They are pumba, tutu and kiki. Now when they grew up we discovered that pumba was male. Being new cat parents we couldn't figure out male n female #kittens and by the time we could neuter pumba he got tutu and kiki pregnant. So now we have simba and pooky who are kiki's babies and angel and dobby who are tutu's babies, and i just love all of them to bits. This is my family in Mumbai.

My mom and dad stay in Kolkata and brother is in USA. By profession i am a creative director and a choreographer. Though i am on the plumper side and have been body shamed continuously and still do but i love myself and i am very proud of the fact that i am honestly a very good dancer. Have acquired it from my mum i guess. I have a #YouTube channel as well with the name debbie Sarkar where i keep vlogging from time to time. Financial struggles are big but i am not giving up. So yes, this is me.. a very brief description though.
