Was Leo a good movie?
Soundtrack for the movie is on Spotify, and sounds great on speakers. Leo is one of the best action movies I've seen in 2023 and a must-watch for all Vijay fans, as well as John Wick fans. It left me guessing until the end as to who the main character really was, as he kept denying that he was Leo.
Leo review : Vijay One Man Show. My rating : 3.25/5 Performances : Vijay Thalapathy delivers a power-packed performance. His screen presence and new hairstyle, coupled with intense action sequences, are a visual treat. His dialogue delivery and expressions showcase his acting prowess. Trisha , delivers a memorable performance. Her character brings depth and emotion to the storyline. Her chemistry with Vijay Thalapathy is a highlight of the film. Sanjay Dutt, in a negative role, is menacing and imposing. He commands the screen with his presence, making him a formidable adversary for Leo. Arjun Sarja looks stylish on the big screen. Gautham Menon is perfectly cast as a forest ranger, and Myskin adds to the film's depth. Anurag Kashyap, Priya Anand, and Madonna Sebastian deliver commendable performances. Technical Values : Director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s idea of dealing the script by interlinking it with his cinematic universe is fine but would have worked more on the second half portions to keep the proceedings interesting. His ability to handle complex characters and weave together multiple plotlines is commendable. Anirudh’s background score is outstanding and up lifts most of the scenes. The cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa looks fine and impresses during night shots. The film looks visually appealing. Anbariv' duo's action direction is top notch and the VFX works were commendable. Watch out for the Hyena sequence and the coffee shop battle which are the absolute best. Production values for this star-studded project are lavish. Other departments like Art and production design are apt to the film.
