Welcome back my dear bloggers hope you are doing great. First of all thanks for your constant support and love on my blogs today I am going to tell us about the crisis India is facing through.

Yes, India is facing a shortage of coal not only India many countries across the world are currently facing this situation. Many of us have studied that future generations will have scarcity of coal so don't waste electricity but we didn't even think that it is this much near and we are the generation facing it. India has 135 centrally monitored power plants which are centers of energy but at present these are facing even critical and supercritical power losses. Over 70 power plants have only coal enough for just 4 days. If these are not filled then no doubt we are going to face severe power cuts like as 10-20 years before and no wonder if it took us to a century back where we used to live in darkness.

Sources are still figuring out whether this is a natural crisis or a Man-Made one because foreign powers often create these types of losses to increase demand and price. International coal prices increased over 50 percent which instead lead to a break in production in many power plants which use imported coal. Though the government ministers are saying that we have reserves for 22 days and are still raising but these words are completely different from exact situations.

Over the last decade, India has been the second-largest producer of coal and has fourth-largest coal reserves across the world but still facing crisis, no wonder how worst it is in the remaining countries. The Pandemic shook India too hard which even ruined the strong foundations. India is competing with other countries to grab as many coal deals as soon as possible to cover this loss.  Coal India has stopped all the auctions except for those in the power sector though they are saying that it is temporary no one knows where this is going through.

All these are signs that all the Environmental impacts we have studied in our earlier classes are just a doorstep away from us. At least now we should focus on protecting this environment, sustainable living, limited use of resources, or else imagine how worst that our future is going to be.
