MIND YOUR OPINIONS PEOPLE AND KEEP THEM TO YOURSELF.

I can't count the number of days when somebody just walks up to me and tells me I got things to rectify about my physical appearance , and it is more like bodyshaming than being given healthy advices .There are times I tried so hard to correct these mistakes , to look like the perfect supermodel we see in magazines , but then I fail atimes, and it makes me feel worthless .

NEVER DID I REALIZE I JUST GAVE THE CONTROL BUTTONS OF MY LIFE TO SOMEBODY ELSE .I WANTED TO LOOK BETTER FOR THE WORLD TO SEE ME , NOT FOR MYSELF .

It was only after about 5 years after those cruel days of bodyshaming that I realized being fit is not about ‘not being ugly’ but about the way you feel , the liveliness and confidence that came along with it .

I realized the pleasure involved in selfcare , and seeing the progress I made , which was a very slow process , but I did not give in this time since I did it not to please anyone else but to build myself a better lifestyle.

I did change a lot , I got healthier , I started looking more like the stereotypical definition of beauty , but above all , I learned to accept the part of me that was still imperfect .I worked on building a better me and also embraced my insecurities. Nothing feels better than seeing yourself changing so much that the world around does not even have a voice in judging you and you flaws anymore .

IT IS ABOUT YOU .ALWAYS ABOUT YOU .

It is not called narcissism or selfishness , but trying to get yourself to a better place , a happier place is never wrong . You always need to fill yourself with confidence before you can go ahead and help others deal with their insecurities .It is your mindset that matters , it depends on how you perceive your flaws . Go ahead and build a better you , an unstoppable , happy kind of you that they will be jealous of , and let them judge all your flaws , that wouldn't end until the day we die .

I always told myself-

"…THE WORLD HAS ALWAYS HAD ITS OPINIONS , 

THESE OPINIONS ,HOWEVER, I MUST REMEMBER ,

ARE JUST AS FLAWED AS MY SKIN."
