Book Name: We Are There For Each Other.
Author: Sagar Chudesara
Rating: 4.5/5
“We Are There For Each Other” is the debut novel of Sagar Chudesara. The story begins with the reconnecting of two old childhood friends, Malar and Sagar, who grew up together in the same building in Malad, Mumbai. Harsh, Sagar’s school friend and Sai, a new inmate from South India add more colours and twists to the story. The novel is a rollercoaster ride with ups and downs in the lives of four youngsters in their twenties. Love and friendship are the central themes of the book.
These starting lines really touched my heart and are one of the important reasons why I decided to read this book. In a period where everyone is busy building their own empire the rarest thing in the world you will find is true friendship and true love. Even reading about them gives us hope and confidence. Each page of this book is filled with innocent friendship and true love. A 178 page of love and friendship; that's what this book is.
Malar, Sagar, Harsh and Sai have set a rather strong impression on me. Each of them in their own way has influenced the whole story. But, Malar swept me off my feet and I am really happy to say that by the time I finished the book I was head over heels in love with Malar. Thanks to the author for creating such a great character. Sagar is also worth mentioning. In my opinion, every girl should have a best friend like him.
It is obvious that some places have magic and some trips change our lives. A road trip to Hampi changes the course of the story and the lives of all four of them. Even in ruins, Hampi is a place that helps us to find our true selves. The author has really done a great job of capturing some of the best things about the place in words.
These are my favourite lines from the book. We see darkness and instead of searching for light we become accustomed to the darkness and close any doors that bring us the possibility of light. It is times like that we need someone to hold us close and tell us “ I am there for you.” or “We are there for you”. And that is what Sagar and Sai did for Harsh and Malar.
It is indeed a book worth reading. It is available for free with Kindle Unlimited. To buy the book from Amazon click here or visit the author's website www.sagarchudesara.com.
