We live in a world where we have a million and more options to choose from. From big life-changing questions about careers to simple daily life questions, we have more options than necessary. And often we find it difficult to choose what we want. Even if we choose one from them, a feeling that we missed something better haunts us for the rest of our day and even in life. This is known as FOMO- Fear Of Missing Out.
Freedom is not only about choosing what you want and deciding what you do with your life but also about taking responsibility for your choices and actions. When you finally gather the courage to choose what you want from all the options available in front of you and miss out on the rest, you are finally liberated from the indecision and composition to have it all.
Decisiveness is a multi-stage process. One of the most important reasons why we drag on making a decision is our fear of regret. Regret is one of the resentful feelings because it was once in your power to make a better decision, but you didn't and now that time has passed. How can we come out indecisiveness? How can we overcome the fears so that we can make better decisions?
FOMO is a real thing. On a minimum level, FOMO motivates you but if don't keep a check on it, it can lead you to serious life problems. Know your fears, understand them and make a way to overcome them.
