The Developer's State Of Mind.

Welcome back to the next blog and be thanked for reading the previously published.

Hmm…I didn't expect coming this far the day I started learning programming. My friend told me about Unity which I merely downloaded at the cost of 500mb data(trust me it didn't mean so less at that time). I just started trying to make games and hence started learning programming.

I read a blog the previous day written by someone about her being confused and pretty much unsure of whether she should continue her passion as a web developer or not.

I don't blame her. No one should.

It's pretty uncomfortable to even imagine being a developer in India. Actually we are not taught much about development in schools which seems to be the reason for students being indifferent towards it since childhood itself. When I talk about programming and all to someone who's not involved in it, they think that it's a big deal. It's like you never learn to walk and when others already do, you think that they have had a big deal.

Like, memorising the whole book for some stupid hyped board exams is easy but sitting on a computer pouring your imagination throught the keys by converting it to a language that the machine can understand and do all the magical stuff for you is hard, like seriously?

Actually people hesitate for the Computer Science field more because we think that there is no scope for technology in India. Another reason is people being unaware of the advantages of it, being exposed to just the bad effects. Ask a person learning game development about how many times a day (s)he is scolded for spending so much time on that computer.

“Mummy sir dard kar raha hai”

“Aur baitho din bhar computer pe!”

“Mummy I have a headache”

“Spend more time on that computer then!”

I am jealous of those americans who had a computer in their garage and of those as well who even had a place to be called a garage at all.

Actually for a country like India where the technolgy is yet to be fully developed, developing seems to have the largest potential in the future.

Even if you are not able to pass some large sort of examinations in Computer Science, even if you seem to have no chance of getting a job neither in India nor abroad, you are still an asset for the economy. If you don't get a job, you will make some for others, you will start your own comany which will go all the to the top or you may even help the community for many public problems(since problem is the most commonly found thing in India).

So, to all those who are in this field, I would only suggest not to lose you zeal and stay motivated by staying with the large community of people who are involved in developing like you because most probably, they have already gone through what you are going through now.

Don't worry and stay safe.

After all keep reading and consider following.
