In this modern world, we all are running to get money to lead a happy life. Undoubtedly Money is inevitable to run our life. But is money only enough to lead a good life? Not at all when we get happiness earning money? Or being happy and making others happy?

In the early days, some of us didn't have enough money, luxury things, etc. But we lived happily with our family. Now most of us have sufficient money and all the luxury things. Do we live happily? Most of us are searching for happiness. Where is happiness hiding? Happiness is not hiding. It is always with us only.  

I have to tell one small real story. In a beautiful city, there lives a 43 years old businessman named Surya (not his real name) with his family. He is not poor at the same time or too rich. He is always busy with all his work. He could not spend time with their family. When his kids asked their daddy if we could go somewhere for this vacation, he replied you go with your mom and grandparents. When his wife wanted to be with him on their wedding anniversary, he said sorry dear, I have an important meeting on that day.

He didn't participate in any family functions, auspicious days, festivals and his family members' birthdays. But he loves his family and does all they would like. But he cannot spend more time with his family. When his family asked him why he liked this, please spend time with us. Then his immediate response is I’m running for our family barely.  

After some days, his wife met with an accident and died on the spot at thirty-eight. He was distraught. Surya and his family could not bear her loss. Some days he didn't go anywhere and for all time sat in the house with memories of his wife. 

Later his parents consoled and advised him. My son, we know how much you love your family. You are working for us only. But making money is the only precedence for you. We all have adequate facilities, but we are not happy. Life is full of little joys and some ups and downs. We all want to be with you on all auspicious and special days. Life is unstable and too short. Don't over think the past and future. Live the present life full of happiness with your family and friends. If you give importance to money as your priority, after some days, when you look back on your life, there will be nothing to be happy about because you missed all those beautiful days. How hard is this? Think wisely, my son.

After that, Surya realized all his mistakes. I wanted to make money to fulfill my family's biggest wish and tried to give them a luxurious life. But I didn't live my present life. How foolish I am. Surya said all these to himself. Then he decided to live for their family and their gladness.

Hey guys, Life is unpredictable. So be happy and enjoy your days and make others happy too. In this story, Surya realizes this after his wife loses. Instead of not being pleased with someone when he is present and suffering for him when he is not, we can live happily with him while he is there.
