It's not that India has never seen anime on television .. Most of us ,as kids, may have watched Dragon Ball Z , PokEmon,Detective Conan or Inazuma Eleven .. But where does those happy days gone ? Nowadays, kids are watching rubbish like Chotta Beem , Motu-Patlu and many more shows that teach you nothing about real life .
Anime teach you so much about real life that its impact on my life is mammoth .I personally have adopted many of my life principles from anime only . How ,In Inazuma Eleven that goalkeeper keep on chasing his dream , works harder and harder day by day , how he leads his team , how he keeps defending goals when while having twisted wrist . Detective Conan teaches us show much about many things like betrayal , reading people , value of money and the list continues..
There are many reasons for discontinuation of anime in India . Here are some of them :
There is no denying that the biggest reason why anime had failed to make it way to Indian television is high sexual content not suitable for kids .. But does all anime has sexual content β Of-course not, only harem anime have it .. And even I hate that type of anime. Can't we welcome anime's like The Rising of the Shield Hero ,Detective Conan . Charlotte, Death Note that have no sexual content and enriches your life with great lessons
Most of the anime promote japanese culture as most of them are made there only . This may not sound a valid reason but it is . Japanese culture of food , dressing , transport , ways of greeting , teaching are shown in many real life animes which may be of no use for Indian audience , but then let me ask you what is the meaning of transfer student is it not to let students experience different ways of teaching around the world . If that experience can be shared through anime I don't see the problem with it.
If we can't see american shows like Friends ,The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon on our television what do we do ? we watch it anyways
we get a Netflix account, pay 300-400rs per month and enjoy our shows. But we can watch anime even for free, although I don't recommend it. If you want to watch anime just get a Crunchyroll account and enjoy your shows
