gulab jamuns are soft delicious berry sized balls which oringinated from the Indian subcontinent . it is also very popular in maldives, india, myanmar as well as bangladesh.

it a very sweet dessert which makes your mouth drool . There are other variationsike pantus and kala jamun which is basically a black coloured jamun.  it can served as either hot , cold or room temperature.

There are a lot of recipies in youtube . most of the recipies involve a lot of ingrediants and a lot of measurements.but if you want to really make these with super simple ingrediants and also with less time I got you.

For the sugar syrup or sugar pani:

you will need:

-half to three fourth cups of sugar

-water

-three to four cardomom

preparation-

add sugar and water and also cardomoms to a pan and boil it.cardomos are optional but i recommend adding it because it brings a delightful aroma to your dessert. once it boil turn off the heat.

for the balls:

ingrediants:

-loaf of bread

-milk powder (optional)

-milk

preparation:

take a loaf of bread or atleast eight pieces and cut the four sides of it.it is necessary to do this beacause the over baked sides of the bread retards the taste.grind the. into powder and add two to three spoons of milk powder. mix it and add milk .make it a ball . Reminder - dont knead the ball.make smooth small balls out of it and deep fry them in oil. add the fried brown coloured balls into the syrup . boil it for half a minute and turn the heat off. close it with a lid and srrve after some time or till it get soaked.

this is how you can make eicious gulab jamuns and shate it with your family.

gulqb jamuns contstitue upto three hundred and eighty calories . if you want to cut down the calories you can add stevia which a natural and healthy sweetner . if you are using stevia taste  affects  beacause it will not be so sweet as it should be. adding stevia  can cut the calories upto two hundred eighty.

if you have tried out this super simple recipie you can share it with me on my instagram.

Gulab jamuns can be kept at room temperature for about a week .you can keep them for a month if you refrigerate them and store them in an air tight container
