The summers I used to spend at my grandparents' rural home are one of my best childhood recollections. The property featured a little pond in the back and was surrounded by acres of verdant greenery. My siblings and I used to play around in the cool water for hours while using our bare hands to catch fish.

I also have fond memories of the countless hours I spent playing with my neighbourhood friends. We used to play everything from hide and seek to soccer and basketball. I recall the excitement of winning a game and the disappointment of losing, and how we were always trying to come up with new and creative ways to play.

But it's not just my childhood outdoor adventures that I recall. I also have many happy memories of indoor activities like baking cookies with my mum and reading bedtime stories with my father. These simple, everyday moments have stayed with me and continue to make me smile.

I remember a lot of my early years. I'll share the one that stands out to me the most in this section. We used to visit my grandparents' home when I was a kid, usually once a year at the least. We generally go to my grandparents' place over the summer when I'm off from school. My grandparents reside in a small Uttar Pradesh village close to the city of Kanpur. Early in the morning, I get out of bed and head to the farm. We have farming area next to the farmhouse where different crops are farmed. The crops are prepared for harvesting by that point in the summer. I enjoy watching the harvesting procedure. I prepare in the farmhouse by taking a bath in the stream of the tubewell. I
