His story is basically Represent Love Is love 

So in the start of series, Kunal and sakshi are the perfect couple having two kids  with 20 years of successful marriage

On the occasion of her 3rd hotel opening she invites a person who wrote food article for newspaper

And that guy was preet,kunal's boyfriend from last 3 years

They both behave normal in front of sakshi

On the same day one of their friends create Drama in the party that one of her friend cheated her wife,she got tensed and leave the party

After that sakshi thanks to god that she got Kunal as her husband

The things between them was turning good but suddenly one day she have to go to the Banglore for client meeting on the day Kunal and prit have their third year anniversary

After she leaves Kunal thought to celebrate Anniversary with prit

And he goes to prits place and they have their good time

When sakshi was going to airport she show as couple in front of flower shop and thought that she has to be with Kunal right now and she again left to home after reaching she knows that Kunal is not at home and he's at Rati's place

She went prits house and she saw prit their after that she got relief that Kunal is not cheating on her

She felt guilty that she saw him in towel so for apology she invites prit and rati for dinner

Rati got a call so she left earlier

Kunal drop prit at parking and hugs prit one their friends rafiya saw both of them together

But she ignores that

After all these things sakshi decides to spend time with kunal but at one day she saw Kunal and prit kissing in the car and she break down she even can't believe that this also can be happen with her

And she thinks to get separated from Kunal but her kid shivay is not able to listen to her

Then after 7 months Kunal shifts with prit and Sakshi started dating another man

All things were going went but suddenly one day prit got beaten by shivay and her friends but he didn't tell this to Kunal sakshi realize that and asks prit to throw their engagement party

After prit got recover they plan their engagement but all of sudden prit feels suffocate with Kunal and tells sakshi that he can't marry Kunal and left

And here season one ends
