Lets about procrastination, a simple thing that can destroy a whole lot of problems in a persons life.

Procrastination is an act of putting off your tasks until the last point or the deadline. Some people spend procrastinating for so much time that they cant even complete their daily important tasks. They may want to stop procrastinating so much but still are unable to stop, like an addiction. However, procrastination is not considered as a mental illness.

There are a lot of different types of procrastination from which some of them are listed below:

  • The Avoider

People are pretty scared to take on some tasks that they believe they can not manage. They rather put off those tasks than be judged by other people when they make mistakes.

Tip: Focus on the first worst task to overtake this kind of procrastination. Try to spend your mornings working on what you find the most challenging. This might give you a sense of achievement and that will help you in building a momentum throughout your day.

  • The Busy one.

These people get confused on what to do with their time when they have a lot of work in their hands. They find it hard to choose whats the best task for them and they end up postponing any decision making process.

Tip: You should prioritize the tasks and highlight what needs to get done first. Knowing this information may help you manage your time wisely.

  • The Dreamer

These people enjoy thinking and planning the work more than taking some action on it. They are really creative but still it is hard for them to finish the work.

Tip : Cut your tasks into small fragments and complete one by one, before knowing, you have done it all easily.

How to prioritize your tasks?

Now, i have been searching for how to prioritize and i got a lot of methods.

Put your task into four different categories:

  • Things that are not that important and you dont NEED to do and also dont WANT TO DO.
  • Some things that you dont really want to do but you need to do.
  • Things you want to do and also need to do.
  • Those things that you want to do but you dont really need to do.

And this will help you easily identify your tasks.

So that was all for this blog. I hope you all liked it.
