A profound and poignant movie which first seems to have a ridiculous plot. It shows Hana's view as a single mother, who fell in love and had kids with a werewolf.

One of my favourite anime movies, is centered on the story of Shoya Ishida, a high school bully who happens to grow up as a person who regrets his actions. When he finds himself at his lowest, he tries to connect with his bullying victim, learning and making amends in the process.

Three astronauts on a mission in the galactic garbage, this thriller has a very mysterious force. And is obviously worth watching.

A tempered plot with beautiful visual aspects is a great movie and is considered as one of the best animated japanese films.

Your name achieved success as the highest grossing anime in the world in 2016 and managed to replace spirited away. You will suffer and laugh and smile and cry with how the relationship happens to be after two people exchange bodies.
2. Grave of the fireflies ( 1988 ) - 8.5
A heartbreaking and known as one of the most emotional endings among the ghibli movies. This story follows two siblings surviving on the streets during world war II.
This movie won a number of awards including the oscar for the best animated films. Hayao Miyazaki wrote and directed the script for this amazing movie, where the world of living is mixed with the world of the spirits.
