They Both Die At The End......

Hello and welcome to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in good health and are having a blast of a day💙

So this blog will be all about a review of a book called “They both die at the end” by Adam Silvera. There is nothing much as a spoiler for this book as the name itself suggests what is going to happen. Lets start..

Meet Mateo and Rufus, two strangers who receive a call from Death Cast, telling them that they are about to die in the next 24 hours. They don't know how, they don't know exactly when, all they know is that they have less than one day left to live. So they both decide to find a companion to spend their last day together with and naturally they find each other through the Last Friend app. This book is all about their experience after the call and before their untimely death.

So if you are not into emotional and sad stories, trust me, this will be a beginner guide to it. It has the best balance of enjoyment and grief, overall the ideal reality what everyone wishes for, except for the dying part😅.

The chapters in this book is from the perspective of all the characters, mainly Rufus and Mateo. The dynamic between these two characters is just enjoyable, where Rufus is the adventurous one and Mateo is the shy kid who tries to learn more about life. One of them is gay and Puerto Rican and the other one is bisexual and Cuban and when they find each other, they hesitate to trust each other completely but at the end they end up falling in love with each other.

Only knowing each other for less than 24 hours, they grow to trust and enjoy their life to the fullest till the end, together. And ultimately the book ends with them “ dying at the end" , or DO THEY??

My favourite thing about this book is the concept of this “ Death Cast ”. I would really love to live in the world where i would know that what day will be the last day of my life. I would reach that end line of the race called life, not knowing what is next for me. So yes, i would recommend this book to you all.

Let me know what do you think of “DEATH CAST” in the comments below. It would be really interesting to see your perspective on this.☺💜

So that was all for this blog..

Thank you for watching so far…
