Welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in great health and are having a great day.

After rescuing his relatives from the stomach of Kronus the titan, Zdus took his brothers to the top of Mount Olympus, the tallest mountain in Greece. There was the official headquarter of the rebel gods established. This rebellion gave rise to the titonomachy also known as the great war of the Titans.

Zeus, Posiedon and Hades.

Kronus's army's general was the titan Atlas, who led the attacks against the olympic gods. The battlefield between the armies of the titans and the gods was the plains of thessaly. The titans were dominating over the battle because of their immense physical power. After seeing the true power of the Titans, Zeua went looking for reinforcements in Tartarus. He rescued a one eyed creature named Cyclops. These in return forged some formidable weapons for the gods. Zeus got his popular and powerful lightning bolt, Poseidon got his majestic Trident capable of creating earthquakes and Hades got the Helm of terror which gave him invisibility. With these new weapons the gods managed to fight the titans

Kronus's army threw huge mountains against the gods. This battle lasted almost 10 years. The titans seemed to be victorious and the gods was in need of something even more powerful. So Zeus decided to free the giants with a hundred arms and fifty heads from Tartarus. The army of Kronus panicked when they saw the power of these fearsome creatures. Zeus powered up a lot of energy to give to his most powerful lightning bolt. He threw the lightning bolt at Kronus and it hit his head. The impact of this blow, shook the whole universe. The titans were punished exemplarily. The Army of Titans were condemned to a perpetual existence in Tartarus with the jailers as the creature with 50 heads. The leader of the titanic troops, Atlas recieved a special punishment. He was sentenced to bear the heavy weight of the celestial sphere on his shoulders for eternity. It was the era of the reign of the supreme gods of olympus. Under the rule of Zeus, a new era began in the universe.

The eternal punishment of Atlas.
