This blog will all be about one of the most expensive residential house of the entire world, Antilia. Antilia is a private resident of a billionaire family of The Ambanis locate din Mumbai, India. This huge 27 stories building is about 175 meters high and over 37,000 sq. meters.
Antilia is stacked with luxurious amenities like 3 helipads, a garage for 168 car, a ballroom, 9 futuristic high speed elevators, a theater, a terrace garden, swimming pool, a temple and a snow room with a snowflakes spitting walls. This tall mansion is one of the world's largest and most aesthetic residential homes. Antilia completed its construction and opened in 2010.
The cost of this mansion is about $2.6 billion. It has about 27 floors.
Perkins and will is the architecture firm, based in dallas and Hirsch Bedner, based in Los Angeles has designed this great masterpiece.
Some controversial Antilia incidents
●A fire broke out on the 9th floor on the 10th of july, 2017. It was extinguished within a few moments. But still it damaged the 4G antenna and the plastic framing of the garden.
●A car with about 20 explosives along with a threatening letter to the Ambanis, was found parked near Antilia, on 25th Feb of 2021. The sniffer dogs detected those explosives the bomb squad removed the explosives which did not had any battery or a detonator. Sachin Vaze was found involved in this incident by the NIA. He got arrested and the case is still going on.
Additionally, there are about 170 cars for the garage of the owner Mukesh Ambani. And also many world class vehicles in their lavish garage.
Among these many years, the Ambanis have opened their doors for many occasion like a celebration for Neeta Ambanis IPL team Mumbai Indians multiple wins or the birthday of their daughter Isha Ambani.
All the dark wooden flooring, the space also involves a spiral staircase with an aesthetic glass panelling with moody paintings and gracefull statues. By its height, obviously it provides a breathtaking view of the sea. With a beautiful balcony, this sun kissed part of Antilia is the place where Isha Ambani shot her Vogue cover in 2019.
