Hi guys, welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in good health and are having a blast of a day.

The first born of kronos and rhea, hades was a sibling brother to gods, zeus, poseidon, demeter, hera and hestia. After they overthrew kronos by killing him, the kingdoms were divided among the gods, and Hades was the one to rule the underworld.

He played his role very well and very rarely went outside. However, he was close to those living in underworld with him. Although hades is the most feared , most of the people are unaware of his peaceful nature. Demeter, the goddess of the harvest and the king of the gods, Zeus had a beautiful daughter, persephone. She was loved the most by her mother and demeter intended to never let her innocence go away.

One day, Hades asked Zeus to give him one of his daughters, to have as a wife and zeus accepted to give him persephone even when he knew that the goddess would object to this marriage. Demeter was furious of persephone's kidnapping and searched for her for nine days and nights. She vowed to wipe off all people if she didnt find her daughter.

Hades and persephone

In the underworld, hades tried his best to provide persephone with gifts and proper hospitality. He even gave her equal power to rule alongside him. Persephone requested hades to make a new realm for greatest mortal souls and it was named Elysium. As hades was the only one who treated her like an adult, she started developing feelings for him.

On earth, demeter had froze the earth and people were starving and dying. When persephone found out about this, she reluctantly decided to return. She went to the mount olympus where zeus and demeter were fighting. When hades appeared, he held a half eaten  pomegranate by persephone. When asked how many seeds has she eaten, she replied six.

Zeus stood up from his throne and ruled that she will spend 6 months of each year in the underworld and six months on earth. After hearing this command, Demeter took persephone and restored earth's fertility.

And that was all for todays blog. I hope you all enjoyed reading it. Feel free to share your thoughts in comments below. And thank you for reading this far…
