Lets get back to the remaining labours of the great warrior, Hercules.

7. Capture the Bull of Crete

The King Minos of the city Crete, allowed Hercules to take the bull that was terrorizing the residents. Hercules wrestled the bull and was able to take it back to king Eurystheus.

8. Bring the mares of Diomedes back.

The king of Thrace, Diomedes, trained mares to eat human flesh. Hercules, along with his companion, Abderus, was killed by the very mares. Hercules buried Abderus and killed the king Diomedes. He fed the horses to calm them and brought them back to king Eurystheus.

9. Get the Belt of Hippolyta

The queen Hippolyta, the leader of a tribe of warriors was given a belt by Ares, god of war. The king Eurystheus' daughter, Admete wanted the belt. When hercules came to the land of amazons, he confronted Hippolyta about her belt and she agreed to give him the belt in one condition that she will give up the belt when Hera is not there in disguised as an amazonian warrior. Hera told the others that hercules was there to kill Hippolyta and so the other warriors tried to kill Hercules. When hercules saw the warriors in armors and with weapons, he thought that hippolyta ordered them to kill him and so he killed hippolyta and returned with the belt.

10. Get the Geryon cattle

Hercules had to go to the island of Erytheia to locate the cattle. He located the cattle, but the bulls got loose. Finally, hercules gathered the herd to take it to Eurystheus and he sacrificed the cattle for Hera.

11. Obtain the golden apples of Hesperides.

Eurystheus initially gave hercules 10 labours, but as two of them were disqualified, he extended it with 12 total labours. Hercules searched the whole world for the apples, Prometheus advised him to ask Atlas to steal the apples. Hercules held the heavens and the earth while atlas stole the apples. Hercules asked Atlas to hold the earth and heavens so that he can adjust. And while atlas was holding the earth, Hercules betrayed him and left for Eurystheus with the apples.

12. Capture Cerberus.

The last task of hercules' redemption was the beast Cerberus, a three headed dog who guarded the the gates of underworld. Knowing that he can not travel through the gates, he travelled through a deep cave to enter the underworld. Hercules reached Hades after fighting a lot of underworld beasts and asked him to let cerberus to the surface. Hades agreed, only if hercules can capture the beast with no weapons and no chains. And so he did, and took cerberus to Eurystheus.

And so his 12 labours were finally over.
