So blog will be a review blog of one of  the very famous tv series, Sherlock. 

Sherlock is a famous british crime tv series which shows the adventures of a consultant detective, Sherlock Holmes, based on the character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle way back in 1892 in his novels. There are various other shows and movies related on this character, making it one of the most popular characters of the world. 

The Sherlock series consists of 4 seasons, collectively having 13 amazing episodes. Each episode is for about 90 minutes and filled with mystery. Unlike other series, Sherlock is not too lengthy and you can finish enjoying it in about a week or so. 

The reason behind its world class popularity is the magnificent writing, casting, acting and the level of direction is off the charts

Plot

It all starts with introducing the great Sherlock Holmes who lives in 221B Baker street of London. Every case that is out of the league of the detectives is taken up by sherlock and he solves them easily, now with the help of his new friend and roommate Dr. John Watson. 

Everytime they solve a case, Dr. Watson publishes an article about how sherlock solves it on his blog online. Because of that, sherlock's talent and detective skills shines in the eyes of people all around the world and soon enough people starts to recognize him as a celeb.

With all the detective work and putting the criminals behind bars, sherlock ends up with a lot of enemies than he have friends. Among one of those is Jim Moriarty. Not only in this particular series, but in almost every story there is of sherlock holmes there will be jim moriarty as his Arch nemesis.

Now the first 3 seasons are just amazing with mind bending plots and the intense tension between sherlock and moriarty. The 4th season however, has a antagonist as Sherlock's own long lost sister who had been in a prison because of her cruelty and manipulative criminal mindset.

Many fans and critics have hated and been disappointed by the 4th season. But personally i love the last season.

The most popular and liked episode of the whole series is “The Reichenbach Fall” which is the finale of Holmes vs Moriarty but my favourite is called “The Baskervilles Hound”. 

I would recommend watching this show to you all. Trust me you will be hooked on this.
