Hi there. Welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in good health and are having a blast of a day. ๐Ÿ’œ

Almost all of us has been raised with a simple idea about sexuality and gender. Just that there is two sexes, one male and the second one female. But with the upcoming of transgender, non binary and many other norms, many people are starting to finally understand that the categories of sexuality are far more complicated than just men and women.

Lets first see the definition of the term sexuality- it is about your personal sexual feelings, attractions and behaviours towards other people.  You may find other ones physically or emotionally attractive and all those things are a part of your sexuality. It is very diverse and personal, it is an important part of your identity, of who you really are.

Now lets talk about gender. People has taught us from the beginning that there are 2 genders, man and woman. And that these are assigned the time when you are born.

Do not be afraid of exploring your sexuality, fantasies and desires. Embrace them. Love them. Make them yours. They are a part of who you are.

But it is very complicated than that. Some people identify as non binary  which means that those people's gender identities do not align with the man and woman binary. Others identify as bigender, which is a term for people that identify as both men and women. Amd also agender, meaning they don't really identify with any one of those gender.

Now lets enlist so.e different gender identities.

  • Agender. As mentioned above, it does not identify with any particular gender.
  • Bigender. A person who identifies as bigender has two gender
  • Butch. Lesbian womens tend to use this term to describe how they show masculinity ( what society sees as masculinity).
  • Cisgender. A cisgender person is a person with the same sex that they are assigned at their birth.
  • Queer. A gender queer person has an identity that is not the same as society's expectations for their sex that is assigned.
  • Transgender. A person who identifies as a transgender person encompasses all people who identifies with different gender than that which their assinged sex at birth.

Now there are many others which are also important but this is all for this blog. I hope you liked it.
