1. Crush develops faster whereas love takes its time.
When you first have a crush on someone, it feels a bit fun like dancing with the flame but it might not last forever. LOVE, on the other hand demands patience, honesty and understanding.
2. A crush forms from the basics, while love develops from deep connections.
Have you ever liked someone because they share some similar interests as you do?? Its a Crush. Maybe you like the same movie or an icecream flavour, etc, etc. Love, however is not afraid to dive into the deep sea of vulnerability and sharing. It means confronting the past and growing together.
3. Crushing over someone might feel insecure but Love stems from trust.
Crushing on someone may leave you feeling insecure while comparing yourself to others. But love is built on the foundation of trust. When you love someone, you feel at peace with them, you are neither possessive nor jealous.
4. Crush feels new at times while love has a sense of familiarity.
When you crush on someone it sometimes feels fresh and young. But as you get to know that person better, love forms within yourself. It is like being with your bestfriend. When you are crushing on someone, you are too shy to even talk to them.
5. A crush is reckless while maturity relies on love.
Crushes can be confusing and inconsistent. Love is not so easily discarded, though. When love starts, it builds trust with it. You learn that it is okay to be vulnerable, okay to be compromise and also you learn to grow with someone. It is more than just a feeling, and more like a life changing experience.
