"Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world "

 Absolutely !..In today's scenario, there is a hectic challenge posed in front of teachers and parents in mentoring the child's academics and personality. There is a paradigm shift in education from the conventional talk and chalk method to digitalized teaching. 

Children of this generation are smart gadget kids, influenced by technology .They rely more on mobiles ,tablets and laptop rather than books to acquaint knowledge. Its good to be technically expertised but completely ignoring tradition is definitely unacceptable.

Teachers need to blend innovation and information in order to tap out the latent talents of students. It's high time they wake up the sleeping Cinderella within the kids and unleash their hidden potentials.

 Being an educator for a decade ,I realise the dire necessity and challenge meted out to teachers in inculcating education through exciting and interesting ways. My blogs are created in such a way so as to assist teachers who are passionate in teaching through interesting methodologies.

Sounds weird right .. Teachers can implement these activities at the end of every lesson they teach .

The prime motive in conducting these activities is to gauge and evaluate the student's perception about the lesson. After completing a lesson, the student can be instructed to present the important features of the topic in an artistic way. 

Each feature of the lesson can be presented through a drawing or any art form relevant to the lesson.

BENEFITS :

  Though this activity might sound in a lighter vein, it enhances the artistic and creative skills of the students. Moreover teachers might be sceptical when they teach complicated topics if it is really understood by the students. Implementing this activity, teachers can ensure the student's perception about the lesson. It acts as a bridge thereby filling the learning gap and enables to know the misconception from students.

ROLE OF PARENTS :

   In the current scenario, where there is a cut throat competition in all aspects, its mandatory that parents also need to play a vital role in the child's academics. Instead of monitoring and always stressing their kids to learn ,parents can implement these activities in their leisure time and motivate their children. Its high time we replace the gadgets in our kid's hands and engage them with such useful and interesting activities.
