Richa was born in 20 March, 1986 in a Bangali Family in Delhi but after some time she moved to USA where she completed her education.

She has won many awards for her performance in Telegu and Tamil movies such as Norway Tamil Film festival award for best actress and Edison Award.

She played lead actress role in the remake movie of Dabangg which came in 2012.

She is an actress, former beauty queen and model. She had worked in many commercial ad films and her debut movie came in the 2010.

She has received appreciations from the auditions for her performance in the Tamil movie Mayakkam Enna.She had won Miss India USA at the 26th annual leave and held at Royal Albert's Palace in New Jersey in 2007. In 2007, she also won Miss Michigan pageant award.
