Peter is an IT engineer, working in one of the big MNC company. When he had joined the company he was very happy and doing his work very positively.

After few month he realise all his colleague is making some wrong comment on him, always passing negative comments, and in this atmosphere Peter was not satisfied and decided to switch the company.

One day Peter went to HR head of company and told to HR, "I do not want to work here. I want to resign this Job". HR surpised and asked to Peter Why you are quiting this job? you are in good position with your expericence and you are getting good salary also. Peter replied, “the hole atmosphere is so toxic for mind, everyone here is into lot of politics, and always passing negative statements all the time. Some of colleague and only doing gossip rather than to do work, So I don't think I can do my job with this atmoshere anymore.

The HR said. 'OK", but i have one request, Peter asked what is the request, please tell me? HR said "I wanted to take a glass of water filled to the brim and walk around the office area three times without spilling a one drop also. After that you may resign the job if you want". Peter little bit surprised and agreed to do so. He took a glass of water and walkthrough the around office three times. 

After that he came back to HR Head and to tell him that he completed three round of office with glass of water. HR said, “OK”, and asked him while you walking around the office floor did you see any employee, making gossip, making any disturbace, making any negative comments. Peter said, 'No'. The HR said why did you not seen? Peter replied "cause he was only focus on glass of water to did not spilled out".

HR replied to peter And the same thing is goes with everyone life, if we focused on our work we don't have the time to notice what going around us, the mistake, gossip, politics, negative thought etc. Actually anywhere we go if you changed the company, same people are also in other places. 

Switch the job or change the situation does not ensure freedom from such people. We can not avoid them but we can ignore them by focus to our work, to do our best, we have to shift our focus, our goals, our priorities and then we won't be as much effective with people of surrounding us.
