A very warm Hello👋 to my fellow bloggers… I hope you all are fine and doing well…🥰🥰

I AM IN A READING AND WRITING SLUMP FOR MANY DAYS😶 AND NOT ABLE TO FIND A WAY ON HOW TO GET OUT OF THAT,, BELIEVE ME!!! I EVEN TRIED GOOGLE😉!! BUT ALL IT DID, WAS HANDED ME A LONG LIST 📜OF “DO-IT-YOURSELF” AND NOW I AM MORE DEPRESSED!!!🤷‍♀️YOU GUYS MUST BE THINKING BY NOW THAT “ THIS GIRL HAS LOT OF GUTS TO BORE US EVEN FROM THE BEGINNING, SO WHY SHOULD WE READ AHEAD???”🤔🤔

SOO!!! I M NOT GONNA KEEP U WAITING, AND COMING STRAIGHT TO THE POINT😊😊                                                                                                                     TODAY's BLOG IS ABOUT “MY JOURNEY OF DOING WHAT I LOVE MOST (Drumrolls please🥁)meaning HOW I WENT FROM BEING A NOVICE AND HAVING NO KNOWLEDGE OF READING BOOKS📚 TO BE AN EXPERT AND IN THE COURSE OF TIME BOOKS BECAME MY BEST FRIENDS”!!💖💕

🔅My reading addiction (or you can say obsession)😋started when I was in 11th standard, and in that year education system implemented the new rule of including a separate literature book, and lucky us😎, we got the marvelous opportunity to read “ The Hound Of Baskervilles” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle😍... I didn't have any knowledge of anything, who is the author and who is Sherlock Holmes 😑??? But when I started reading that book I wasn't able to put it down and my mother was shocked😳 that I have never studied any book like that 😂…(I still remember her expressions).                                             This was my first step in the world of books 📚 and after that, I never looked back. 👑

BOOKS ARE OUR BEST FRIENDS---                                                                                    We all need friends who would be there for us when needed and who would understand us without being judgmental. We all need good friends at the time when you are in your teens and going through very emotional and mental changes, you couldn't be able to understand what is right for you and what is wrong?? You start questioning everything and everyone…And when I was going through that phase of life I needed someone to guide me through that path, unfortunately, I didn't get many good friends... I had friends but those are not the kind of persons on whom you should rely on anything. So in that period of time, I relied on the next best thing, who is not gonna let me down or judge me or hurt me---BOOKSAND FOR ALL THE VERY GOOD REASONS BOOKS BECAME MY BEST FRIENDS. I CHOSE TO ENRICH MY MIND WITH GOOD KNOWLEDGE😇 APART FROM RUINING MY MIND WITH THE TEEN GOSSIP..😛

IT IS NEVER TOO MUCH WITH THEM---                                                                          At that phase of life being around people started making me feel that it is “ too much” sometimes, and it usually happens when u feel like you have got the wrong friends or if you have enrolled yourself in a wrong crowd... That's where my journey of being an introvert started, I started enjoying my isolation with books, I started loving myself alone with my books, at least you do not have to pretend in front of books, LIKE making “awww🤗” face all the time when any of your friends tells you about her long list of crushes.🙄 I was so thankful to the book creators that God blesses them for not giving mouth to BOOKS.😂

🔅After experiencing the flavor of reading books, I became hungry, I needed more. That's when after watching 2 states, I came across this book in my neighbor's house and immediately finished it in a day (I don't know but I regret reading that book, not liked much though😏). At least after reading books I understood one thing THEY MAKE US FORGET OUR TROUBLES. It was the time of boards and I needed some kind of refuge from battling with the stress of doing well in boards and got that in the form of books📔...

After 12th I shifted to another city to live with my elder sister and she had a great collection of books like THE WHITE TIGER, SECRET AND MANY MORE OF CHETAN BHAGAT'S. I started with The white tiger, since I was just the beginner, I didn't quite understand the book at that time, maybe that book was too much for me. And after reading that book I started reading SECRET and after many years, it is still in the “TO-BE-CONTINUED” category. 😐After shifting to the new city, I didn't have any friends and I am not the kind of person who makes friends easily. So I was happy that at least I have my books with me, THEY WERE ALWAYS THERE FOR ME AND STILL ARE. They are a perfect cure for our loneliness.

🔅I was in my graduation when one day I watched “THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES” on phone and since I am a fantasy lover, I enjoyed that movie very much and immediately after watching the film I Googled everything about the movie and about the book of Cassandra Clare from which it is adapted and reading the review of the book, I started reading it online bcz at that time didn't have any source of buying all the volumes of that book and online reading is a kind of portable way of reading book. Apart from being the HARRY POTTER'S DIE HARD FAN, this is the second series that made me fall more for fantasy. I KNOW IT'S FICTION, AND MANY PEOPLE DON'T LIKE THIS GENRE, BUT THIS IS THE GENRE THAT GIVES YOU HOPE 🍁AND IMAGINATION🗯 FOR ADVENTURE INSIDE YOUR MIND AND KEEPS YOU GUESSING IF ALL THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN REAL WHAT WILL BE THE WORLD LIKE?.😍🤩

TO BE CONTINUED….. do read the end of this blog, I am sure you will enjoy it.

My first novel was "Three Men in a Boat" written by Jerome K. Jerome. It was in my syllabus. Then, I read "The diary of a young girl" by Anne Frank, and now I am also a novel lover❤️
