Dealing With Anger

It is quite obvious to experience frustrations in the challenging times.

Most of us tend to react in a way which may seem obvious first but creates regret later.

So, today we will look at why such a thing happens?

Why do we get so angry and often react in a harmful way?

Let's start!

The primary thing to understand is whatever we express is energy.

So, same thing applies for anger.

It is but a certain expression of energy, mostly powerful but aggressive and harm causing.

Now, why do we get angry so much?

The first factor here is a situation against our favour.

If something happens which we absolutely don't like, a thought comes in our mind, which generates a strong feeling and then creates a similar reaction.

Depending upon how strong the emotion is, we react accordingly.

Now, I will come to the point and share you some simple steps using which you can absolutely control your anger.

Because everything is energy, if you can control the energy, then you can definitely control the anger.

Here are the steps that will control your anger :

  1. Understand that you were getting angry from a very long time, so it has become a habit pattern. This is why you react very quickly without thinking. So, changing this habit will take some time but change will surely come.

2. Never suppress your emotions. Sometimes in order to control anger, you may think of suppressing it. This may create more anger later. Instead, state your opinion in your natural state.

3. Act with your power. Your power is your awareness and how you feel. Your conscious choice is your greatest asset.

You react when you lose sight of your power. Respond in your own way but in a stable way.

4. Small consistent steps are better than big inconsistent ones.

Instead of making a big change in your behavior all of a sudden, bring stability in your energy little by little and be you.

And most importantly, praise yourself for every little achievement of stable response.

5. Meditate. Because anger has more to do with our energy, thoughts and emotions, it's better to work on calming our minds. Choose your favourite meditation type and do it in your own convenient way.

6. Non attachment to past thoughts. It's the thought of what happened in the past that disturbs you more than what actually happens now.

Don't overthink or criticize yourself about what had happened by you in the past. Let bygone be bygone and choose something better now.

Let go of worries and focus on the better choice of now.

7. Practice Thankfulness.

It's the attitude of gratitude that works like a magic when it comes to channeling your energy.

This attitude of prayer or gratefulness also sedates your mind, giving you the option to choose better and act wiser.

8. Don't hold judgements inside.

If you have something to say about someone, say it. But don't hold a judgement in your head. It creates disturbance in your energy state and imbalances mental peace.

If you understand and try out these above mentioned steps, I'm sure you'll reap the benefits and sooner minimise your anger to a large extent.

And I want you to share your success story down in the comments so that others can benefit too.
