Hello guys

In this blog I'm going to share you about some Indian rituals and their scientific importance.

India is a land of numerous customs and traditions. Many of these have scientific side too. So we can see them one by one.

Why it's said that someone is Missing you when you got hiccups

This is a smart way of distracting one's mind in thinking who the person could be. As a result automatically the hiccup will stop.

Why do we throw coins in River or well

This is not so common in nowadays.okay let's check the scientific side. In olden days the main source for drinking water was river and well. In some parts it is a part of tradition. Is it bring good luck ?

In olden days the currency was made of copper, which is good for human body. By throwing coins to water our ancestors are ensuring the safe drinking water.

But now in modern day coins are made of steel. Throwing steel coins don't do anything good, but drinking in a copper bottle can really help. Copper kills the bad bacteria and it is a vital metal which is very good for human body.

Why do we eat sugar and curd before any important task

This is mentioned in ayurveda. Sugar and curd will help in the supply of glucose to the body. By this helps in improving the energy. In ayurveda it's called Budhivardak. It will give cooling and soothing effect on body and mind.

Why does shagun always end on 1

The number ends with zero indicate complete transaction. But when it ends with 1 gives a hope of future exchange and everlasting relation. And the 1 rupee is given as coin not as paper note. Why because, metal is considered as the form of godess Lakshmi which drive away the negatives.

Why is fasting so common in India

Fasting is not an obligation but it's a moral for Indian to purify their body and mind. During fasting our body don't need to do the process of digestion. Fasting is also called upavas in ayurveda. Upa means near and vas means stay. To stay near God. To improve the power of concentration. For fasting people would choose different days for different food in a month. The scientific side is fasting control obesity, improve hormonal balance and improve growth of new brain cells.
